Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London during the 1970s when she studied the flute piano as well as the harpsichord for three consecutive years. She survived on a student stipend and did part-time jobs to supplement her budget. Lennox decided to change her career path following her dissatisfaction with her inexperience in comparison with the other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left before the band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. Between 1977 and 1980 she served as the lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop band. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created their duo Eurythmics. Lennox started working on Diva in 1992. This was her debut album as a solo artist. The album received a lot of praise by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was released in October 2014. The C.D. contains a collection of Lennoxs favorite blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. In addition in May 2019 Lennox has released Lepidoptera an album comprising four tracks improvised by piano. The E.P. First album of hers"Now I'm Letting You go... It is the perfect accompaniment to her work of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish singer and songwriter who was born on December 25th 1954. At the end of the 70s, she achieved minor fame as members the group known as The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, through an album titled Diva. The album featured a variety of popular songs including walking on Broken Glass and What's the Matter with You. Medusa the studio album, which was released in 1995, has songs that are re-imagined from her most popular songs including the No MoreI Still Love Yous (and The Whiter Shade of Pale). The six solo studio albums as well as her compilation album have a lot of tracks.
