Arike Ogunbowale

Arike was an American basketball player that is a member of the Dallas Wings, a team within the Women's National Basketball Association. She was a player for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in college, before she was selected with the number 5 overall by the Wings during the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale is Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale is her 26 year old brother and Dare Ogunbowale, 20 years of age. Being the youngest of her siblings, she was also the most spoilt by her parents. Gregory Her father was a member of the Nigerian Army quite a while. Ogunbowale lives with a very active family. Her brother Dare is a football player and her mother Yolanda was a softball player at DePaul. The cousin Endia Olive is also a volleyball player in Tennessee State. Ogunbowale's name was on the honour roll of her high school for three years in a row. Her experience in high school has brought her recognition and notoriety. Arike graduated from high school instruction in Divine Savior Holy Angels High School that is in her hometown. She played three varsity season as she enrolled in school. Ogunbowale was able to lead her team in numerous wins thanks to her exceptional skills. She finished her high school career with 73 career starts and a list of career numbers that include 1,477 points and 739 rebounds. Ogunbowale was a participant during the 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. Ogunbowale was selected as the USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team 7 July 2014. Ogunbowale is also selected as a member of the ACC All-Freshman Team after her debut collegiate season. Kobe Bryant congratulated her after hitting several big shots at the NCCA Tournament. Ogunbowale is a young basketball player that has proved to be a great superstar. Arike Ogunbowale's wealth amounts to approximately $5 million according to a source. As a basketballer, she excels in other pursuits also. She also plays soccer and has won three State Cup championships in her club Lake County United Soccer Club as well as a State cup title as a member of FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. She played the piano and also for seven years.
