Maureen Denise McCormick is the daughter of Richard McCormick. She was born August 5, 1956, at Woodland Hills California. Her father taught in the school system and her mom was a stay-at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin is her older brother. She has three siblings. McCormick began singing and dancing at an early age and frequently performed show-like puppets in front of the children from her neighborhood. At the age 6years old, she won at the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley competition. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether she was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick got her first job as a leading actress in the year 1964. McCormick was in an ad campaign for Mattels the newest doll baby Pattaburp. In the following year, she starred for the company's Chatty Cathy Doll and was immediately chosen to play The Brady Bunch La Jolla Playhouse play Wind ItUp And ItBreaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won the 1969 audition of 1,200 youngsters to be the youngest of three twins in the TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. This show lasted for five years. McCormick disclosed her story in Heres the Story. Surviving Marcia Brady, and Finding My True Voice (published 2008) that McCormick nearly lost her Virginity in the hands of Barry Williams during the five-year duration of the show. She was 16 years old when she was in the scene; he was 19. The two of us could have been in a relationship, said she. The timing, however, wasn't just right.
